Publisher, controller and contact

PalletGauge is an independent reference and calculator website published under the Maple Web Group name. PalletGauge does not operate a separate contact service. Website and privacy correspondence is handled through maplewebgroup.com. PalletGauge collects no contact correspondence itself and publishes no separate email address, telephone number, contact form or postal identity.

Information processed

No account, newsletter, upload or saved-project database is provided. Calculator values are processed in page memory and are not deliberately retained, associated with an account or sent as analytics event values. Cloudflare may process technical request and security information needed to deliver and protect the site, including IP address, requested URL, timestamp, HTTP and network information, user agent, device or browser characteristics, and fraud, abuse or security signals where applicable.

Purposes and lawful bases

Website delivery

To return requested pages and assets. Maple Web Group relies on its legitimate interest in making the public service available reliably.

Security and abuse prevention

To detect, investigate and mitigate malicious traffic and service misuse. Maple Web Group relies on its legitimate interest in protecting the website, visitors and infrastructure.

Operational diagnostics

To identify faults and maintain availability using the minimum information reasonably needed. Maple Web Group relies on its legitimate interest in operating and repairing the service.

Optional audience measurement

To understand aggregate use of pages and calculators. Google Analytics is disabled by default and is activated only after the visitor accepts analytics.

Consent and browser storage

PalletGauge stores the visitor’s analytics choice in local browser storage under palletgauge_analytics_consent so that the choice can be respected on later visits. Calculator values remain in page memory and clear when the page is refreshed or closed. Visitors can reopen Privacy choices from the footer and withdraw their choice for future collection on that browser.

Google Analytics

Optional Google Analytics loads through Google Tag Manager container GTM-WN2LNVCW only after the visitor selects “Accept analytics”. The PalletGauge Google Analytics 4 web stream uses measurement ID G-2JVJHB0W2P. When enabled, Google may process online identifiers, device and browser information, visited pages, approximate location derived from network information, referrals and interactions such as scrolling or outbound-link use. Declining analytics does not limit access to the website.

Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation remain denied. Google Analytics may store or access identifiers and process information outside the visitor’s country under Google’s applicable terms and safeguards.

Recipients, processors and transfers

Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery and security. Google provides the optional analytics and tag-management services. Each provider may process relevant information under its applicable customer terms, privacy terms and transfer safeguards. PalletGauge does not sell calculator inputs or provide them to advertisers.

Retention

Maple Web Group keeps no separate copy of Cloudflare request or security logs for this site. Provider-held service and security information is retained according to the applicable service configuration, contractual requirements and the period needed to provide, secure or troubleshoot the service. Google Analytics event-level data is subject to the retention setting of the PalletGauge property; aggregate reporting may be retained for longer. The consent choice remains in the visitor’s browser until it is changed or browser storage is cleared.

Your UK data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you may have rights to access personal information, correct inaccurate or incomplete information, request erasure, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and receive portable data where portability applies. Where consent is used, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights are not all absolute, and lawful exemptions can apply.

Required information and automated decisions

You are not required to create an account or provide contact information. Basic request data is technically necessary to receive the website; blocking it may prevent delivery or security checks. Optional analytics can be declined. PalletGauge does not use profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Effective date and changes

Effective date: 26 August 2026. This notice is reviewed whenever the publisher, providers, processing purposes, analytics, advertising or consent configuration changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
