CP pallet sizes: CP1 to CP9 overview

Compare the five footprints used across the nine EPAL CP chemical-pallet formats.

Short answer

EPAL lists nine CP products across five footprints: 1000 × 1200, 800 × 1200, 1140 × 1140, 1100 × 1300 and 760 × 1140 mm. CP6 reverses the CP1 named sides; CP7 reverses CP4; CP3, CP8 and CP9 share 1140 × 1140 mm.

These nominative names identify EPAL CP products. Shared or rotated outlines do not make the products interchangeable.

Market, terminology and context

CP means chemical pallet. The formats were developed for chemical logistics and product-container patterns. Matching footprint area does not make two named products equivalent; construction and height can differ.

Method and calculation

PalletGauge compiles the minimal public dimensions from EPAL’s official CP overview and calculates footprint area independently. It does not reproduce EPAL drawings, marks or product-sheet presentation.

Worked example

The 1140 × 1140 mm CP3, CP8 and CP9 footprint covers 1.2996 m². That shared square outline does not erase product differences.

What remains variable

Use EPAL’s controlled product information for construction, height, handling and quality claims. This overview is not hazardous-goods or load advice.
