Short answer

EPAL lists EPAL 2 at 1200 × 1000 mm. Its 1.200 m² footprint is 25% larger than EPAL 1.

Key dimensions and facts

EPAL 2 shares the footprint commonly referenced in the UK, but a matching rectangle does not make every 1200 × 1000 pallet an EPAL 2.

Test 1200 × 1000 and 1000 × 1200 orientations for floor geometry. The area is unchanged by rotation.

Worked example
