Market, terminology and context
Searches for pallet dimensions often mix length, width and height. Height varies with construction and named product, while cargo height varies independently.
Method and calculation
Use footprint for floor area. Check clear vertical openings and loaded height as separate constraints; do not combine a linear height with square floor area.
Two pallets with the same 1200 × 800 mm footprint can occupy the same floor rectangle while having different structural or loaded heights.
